Description
Artificial intelligence (AI) is spawning a new phase of automation, changing the way companies operate by optimizing processes, customer experience, and decision-making. Presented by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's (MIT) Schwarzman College of Computing, this program is designed to help you leverage automation technologies to create value for your organization and serves as the first step in building an organizational roadmap for automation.
The program blends technical and organizational considerations to strategically address how, when, and why companies should leverage autonomy to support their workforce. Over the course of six weeks, you will,
- Explore the capabilities and applications of automation technologies in both the physical and cognitive fields, using examples from manufacturing, transportation, and other forward-thinking industries,
- Gain insights from MIT faculty members and industry leaders as you examine the history and the present state of automation technologies as well as future trends,
- Develop an awareness of the key strategic, social, economic, and ethical impacts of automation through insights and strategies influencing work of the future.
